60 Years of Expertise
Our grandad George began dealing in coins, medals and antiques on Brick Lane market, passing on his knowledge to his sons from an early age. Together they travelled the world, buying exquisite jewellery from all corners of the globe and bringing their wares back to the east end – first to a shop in Hackney Road, then to their long-standing shop at 325 Bethnal Green Road.
Over the years our family name has become one of the UK’s most recognised in the jewellery and watch trade – known for our friendly approach, great prices & core values, building long standing customer relationships lasting decades.
We have come a long way since our market stall in the sixties, the rise of social media in our everyday lives has enabled us to reach an audience beyond anything we could’ve dreamed when we started our Instagram page in 2015.
Rankins in the Modern Era
Before long, our newly found social media presence meant selling to celebrities, performing artists and sports personalities. Our designs have now been featured many times in both UK and international publications.
As the younger members of the Rankin family we are proud to have launched our current Rankins Jewellers website whilst the older generation enjoy a happy retirement & close the doors to our much loved shop.
We are honoured to be continuing what our grandad started and cannot wait to show you what we have planned for the future.

Now exclusively online, Rankins also takes advantage of the viewing studio we have in London. Here clients can come in to see our pieces before purchasing or can discuss custom jewellery designs.
As well as this, our team is available for online discussions through video calls. We can consider budgets, stone weights, metal types and anything else you could want to know about your special piece of jewellery.
